Withdrawal policy

This policy explains how you can take money out of your Dromela account, how long it takes, what checks apply and why a request may be delayed. It should be read together with the deposit and withdrawal methods page.

1. Introduction

The purpose of this policy is to describe, in one place, the rules for withdrawing funds. By requesting a withdrawal you confirm that you have read this policy and that the information you give is accurate. The policy is part of the Terms of Use.

2. Available withdrawal methods

You may withdraw to an Australian bank account in your name, to the PayPal account you used to deposit, or to the card you used for your deposit where your issuer supports refunds to that card. Where you funded your account through an exchange connection, funds stay in your exchange account and are withdrawn there, according to that exchange's own rules.

As a rule the destination must be in your own name. This is called the same-name rule, and it exists so that your money cannot be redirected to a stranger if someone gains access to your account.

3. Processing times

PayPal withdrawals are normally completed within 24 hours of approval, bank transfers in one to three business days, and card refunds in one to five business days. These are standard times, not guarantees. Public holidays, issuer processing and requests that need extra review can lengthen them.

Requests approved before the daily processing cut-off are usually sent the same business day. Requests made on weekends are queued and handled at the start of the next business day. You can follow each request's status in your account.

4. Fees and costs

We do not charge a withdrawal fee on the listed methods. Your bank, card issuer or a payment provider may apply charges or exchange rates, and these are shown to you by them. Any cost that applies on our side is displayed before you submit the request.

5. Withdrawal limits

The minimum withdrawal is $50. Maximum amounts per request and per day depend on your plan, your verification level and the method, and are displayed in your account before you confirm. For large amounts we may ask you to split the withdrawal or to provide extra information.

Limits exist to protect you and the platform, and they can be raised once additional verification has been completed. Ask your account manager if the limit that applies to you does not match your needs.

6. KYC and AML checks

Before we release a first withdrawal, and sometimes later, we confirm your identity and the origin of funds under our AML / KYC policy. This normally requires a valid photo ID and proof of address. A withdrawal cannot be completed until the required checks have been passed.

7. Reasons for delay or refusal

A request can be delayed or refused if the details do not match your verified identity, if documents are missing or unclear, if additional compliance review is needed, if a technical issue occurs at a bank or provider, or if a regulator or the law requires us to hold funds. We will tell you the reason where we are allowed to.

8. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for giving correct bank, card and PayPal details. A payment sent to details that you entered incorrectly may be hard to recover, and we are not liable for it. Please check each digit and the account name before you confirm.

You are also responsible for the tax treatment of any gain you make. We do not give tax advice, so please speak to a registered tax agent if you are not sure how profits from trading digital assets are treated in your case.

9. Cancelling or changing a request

You can cancel a pending withdrawal from your account while it is waiting for approval. Once the payment has been sent, it can no longer be cancelled, and changes to the destination require a new request after the funds are returned.

10. Support

If your withdrawal seems late, email [email protected] with your request reference. We usually reply within one working hour and will tell you the status and what is outstanding.

11. Policy updates

We may update this policy when our payment methods or legal obligations change. The latest version is always on this page, and material changes are announced in your account or by email before they apply to you.
